About the Role
Jumia Kenya is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to grow our brand presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube. You will own our content calendar, community management, and paid social campaigns.
You'll collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to produce content that drives awareness, engagement, and sales conversions. You'll report weekly on key metrics including reach, engagement rate, and ROI.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving e-commerce environment and understands the Kenyan digital consumer deeply.
Requirements
- 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally in e-commerce or FMCG.
- Proven track record of growing social audiences and driving engagement in the Kenyan market.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar) and analytics platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Suite) and video editing experience.
- Strong copywriting ability with a good understanding of local culture and tone.
